About Us

Over the years, support groups within the North Central region played significant roles in grassroots mobilization, political advocacy, and electoral campaigns in support of the APC. However, these contributions were often undermined by internal challenges, including fragmentation, leadership disputes, and lack of coordination among various groups.

These issues led to recurring squabbles and crises, which weakened collective influence and created divisions within the support structure. As a result, many groups operated in isolation, with overlapping mandates and competing interests. This disunity not only affected effectiveness but also led to limited recognition by both the party leadership and government institutions.

Consequently, several dedicated members and groups were unable to fully benefit from their efforts and sacrifices, despite their contributions to the party’s growth and electoral victories.

Recognizing the urgent need for reform, unity, and strategic coordination, key stakeholders and leaders across the region initiated consultations to address these longstanding challenges. This process gave rise to the formation of the North Central APC Support Group Council—a unifying body designed to harmonize all support groups under one structured and recognized platform.

OUR PURPOSE:

The Council exists to restore cohesion, promote inclusiveness, and ensure that the collective strength of support groups is effectively harnessed. It aims to eliminate internal conflicts, foster disciplined engagement, and create a credible interface between support groups, party leadership, and government.
